How many people have tried recreate their favorite

I am just curious how many people have tried to recreate their favorite parks on RCT? I have tried to do several and I find it pretty hard. Have to replace some rides with different ones and what I find most difficult is getting the land elevations to match that of the park I am trying to recreate. Any advice anyone?
This question is better suited for the RCT forum, try it there.
Indiana Beach! It is fairly good, but CornBall Express was made a little short of it's original design.

2000 stats: 135 coasters in 26 parks

I did IOA, Jazzland, Darien Lake, and The Great Escape
I've re-created Paramount's Kings Dominion, Six Flags America, Dorney Park, Busch Gardens Williamsburg and now Six Flags Worlds of Adventure down-to-the-details for 2001 from the coasters, layout of the parks, to the trees and flower beds. You can download them all at my site, COASTERnet at

I would try, but I've tried to recreate coasters, and the ratings just don't seem to be that good for actual gameplay. Too intense, you can't make any money! And building them is expensive. It would be great, though, if they would develop an RCT expansion/add-on that was just real parks, letting you actually manage those.

I have rebuilt so many real coasters it is sick. I have been trying to rebuild MF at CP buit IT is always way to fast so the intensity rating goes sky high. What I have found though is if you have a coaster that would go in a real park it probably will be to intense for the people to ride.
I have not recreated any parks, however I have recreated the Coaster at the PNE/Playland in Vancouver,BC and the long gone Jantzen Beach Dipper in Portland,OR.I may try to recreate the Jantzen Beach park once I find out what existed in this park and what its' layout was.Any help on this would be appreciated.
I tried to recreate PKI but I realized I could only get Action Zone done. Is there a way to cram the park on the workbench?

I have a PKI and I did not have any problems.

A Cedar Pointer!"
You can do it, but the rides probably won't come (ratings wise) as you want them to.

I have recreated some very realistic Cedar Point coasters. You can download them at my site here:

I tried to recreate the parks that I have been to, but I did not want to finish it so I erased it.

I gave up on trying to recreate King's Island a long time ago. First, there is nothing that can be used to look like the Eiffel Tower. Putting a spinning lookout tower in is the only thing that comes close. Plus, it is REALLY difficult to match the curves and orientation of the coasters and how they fit in the real park. And there are some rides that exist at PKI that simply don't exist in RCT.
I keep trying SFWoA, but It never turns out right because it is rollercoaster tycoon, not every little thrill ride tycoon. They don't have any kind of roofs, tunnels, or shows you could put on the old Sea World side, so I guess it won't ever work.
