How many parks every year?

How many parks do you think you visit in one year? FOr me it is about 10-15 different ones and about 25 counting re-visits.

80 coasters and soon to be more

1 or 2 :( Usually Kings Island is the only one I've been to Magic Kingdom, Epcot, and SFKK :( CP THIS SUMMER!

Can we change the name of Top Gun to your mom so no one wants to ride your mom?

Last year I was able to make it to PKI, CP, IOA, BGT, SWF, USF, MK, MGM, AK, Epcot, SFKK, KBF, DL, DCA, HW, and KW. So far this year, I've been to PKI, CP, SFWoA, Dollywood, SFoG, BGT, and made a first ever trip to Wild Adventures. Besides PKD and/or BGW and possibly IB and LL, I think that will be it for this year, but I'm more than happy anyways. Both of my parents are off from work the entire summer which makes us able to go on these trips since they love to travel and ride coasters as well. Otherwise, I doubt I would be going to even half of them.
I use to only go to only one park a year, which is Carowinds. This year I'm up to a whopping THREE, which is a record for me: PC, SFOG, and PKD. I'm on a mission. I may possibly be going to BGW, PKI, and CP but I don't have my hopes up just yet though...

SFgadvMAN, shouldn't you have been on more than 80 coasters if you go to 10-15 parks a year? So far, this year I've been to Carowinds, Kings Island, Kentucky Kingdom, Holiday World, and Camden Park. I will be going to Six Flags Over Georgia and Emerald Pointe.

I'm also visiting a whopping 3, if I make it to SFGAm this year. HW so far, IB later, and hopefully SFGAm in between. There are two other possibilities, though. I could get to CP and a family reunion in PA at the start of August, or, one I'd like even more, a trip to SoCal for the ND-USC football game, with a couple extra days for SFMM or DL and DCA.

Id like to know what people do to afford 10-15 parks. Ill probably make 4 this year. Maybe if I have the time.
We usually do about 4..Hershey, Dorney, Busch Gardens and Kings Dominion...but then this summer we added PKI and CP cause we never took the kids the last time we went 2 years ago.

Last year my park count was about 4. This year, i have already been to SFAW, SFFT, Jazzland, SFoG, Carowinds, Kennywood (Potato Patch fries with seasonings, cheese, and gravy...mmmmmm), CP, PKI, and SFWoA with plans to head down to IOA soon.

This summer I only have:

SFEG

Lakeside

Lagoon-If I am lucky

Valleyfair!-If I am lucky

I go to parks based on my finances and my mood. If I feel like going to Kennywood (which I'm strongly considering), next week, I will. If there are more pressing concerns, like a new apartment, and obtaining work to pay for said apartment, then I won't.

If coasters are your life, than maybe you need to re-examine your life.

Make sure there aren't any bad storms when you go to Kennywood...:)

God, that was awlful.

Last year was freakin insane with me hitting 14 of 15 US SF parks, 4 of 6 Cedar Fairs and 4 of 5 Paramount's. Then I did at least 20 traditional parks. I'd say I did about 50 parks last year. That was the most I'd done. 2000 was about 40.

This year I was thinking would have been very light but with this random road trip thing I'm into now, it's looking like another big year. So far I've done...

IOA, MK, AK, Epcot, MGM, SWF, BGT, Old Town, USOrlando, SFMM, KBF, DCA, DLand, SFoG, Wild Adv, SFAW, SFFT, Jazzland, SFStL, HW, SFKK, IB, SFGAm, CP, SFWoA, KW, PKI, Boomers FL, PCarowinds.

With Europe (about 17 parks or so) and other trips throughout the year (Coaster Celebration, *hopefully* PPP, etc) the park count should again be pretty high. Damn this hobby!

Whoa that was pretty cool." -- Reaction to first flip over on X-Flight

-----------------
"hi, my name is Tim, and im a coasterholic"...."Hi Tim!!" hehe:)

This year between 9 and 11. Last year was my first coaster year so I visited 7 parks. Wait till I can drive, I will have you all beat!

~I rode my first coaster June 2001 and since then I have ridden 43 different coasters!

So far this year: (1) Holiday World, (2) Indiana Beach (3) Six Flags Worlds Of Adventure (4) Cedar Point (5) Paramounts Kings Island.

Next coaster trip for me is: July 25th-30th. Not sure were I'm going yet. Either maybe Upper Midwest coaster trippin or Pennsalvania coaster trippin, during that time. I usualy hit about 14 parks every summer. Also not sure were I may go in August yet. This year I hope to hit about my average which is around 12parks ;).

-----------------
Valleyfair Security 2002! 8Years working at Valleyfair :)! Wild Thing Laps: 130.

Last year we hit 9 different parks. This year so far we've hit 8 (including Conneaut tomorrow) and plan on at least 5 more (depending on where we go when in Florida).
