How many inversions on X?

Since X flips while going around the cicuit, would you count the number of times the track flips or the number of times the riders flip as the number of inversions? How many inversions would that be?
Someone may want to correct me, but I think the track inverts 4 times, and the cars flip 6 times, for a total of 10 inversions. However, most will only count the 4 times that the track acually twists:The 2 raven turns, the flip over after the turn around, and the in-line twist that ends the ride.

This'll be another neverending debate. Count as many as you want. I know I won't care one way or another. ;)

Just like the flying dutchman "inversions"... The parks count the switches from inverted/'normal' and vice versa as inversions, but are they really? Its all opinion IMO...

This debate will probably be argued over and over again. Brandon said it best, its all down to opinion. I find it exciting that we now have roller coasters that are so complex that we can't even tell what has inversions or not!

anybody else see the humor in this statement?

I did not meen to start a "neverending debate", I just wanted to know what they would put down for the stats. Thats it.:)

Thanks for your answer DWeaver.
I would say "any number" @ RCDB

Well, SFMM's official site lists...
The "Skydive"
2 Raven Turns
2 Backflips
1 Frontflip

In my book, that adds up to 6.

"X" marks the spot in 2001!
