How many inversions does V2 have?

Would you consider the new V2 front spike an inversion. Seriously, just look at some of the pictures and tell me what you think.

On the seventh day, God created coasters!

Yes, I would.

If its ran like SUE, then It will have probley 3 inversions int he front of the train, and 2 in the middle, and 1 in the back. But I guess we wait and see :)

i dunno i would say no because your only really going up 180 degrees not 360.
It has "6!!!" inversions now. The reason why the brakes were added to the front spike and the front spike is so long is so that you can be shot through the barrel roll each time, and yes that is a 360 degree revolution, forwards and backwards.

Yes, but it's a side to side twist; you're not actually inverted in relation to the ground. I say there's 0 inversions.

EDIT: New spike? If you mean the V2 at SFMW... Then it has inversions.

I think it is an inversion.

...my *elderly* aunt, a lovable old kook, used to call it "@$$ over teakettle"....if that happens, and it sure looks that way to me, then it's an inversion in my book....
Yes, SFMW can now market this coaster as having inversions. Inversions are considered as such at those angles.. look at the B&M Zero-G rolls, they are basically the same as V2s inversion. Since it cycles 3 times, that would make it have 6 inversions...

Theme parks will NEVER be the same!

JoNoJ27 - sorry, you're wrong. As the train passes over the top of the roll, riders will most certainly be inverted in relation to the ground. This inversion is not much different than a B&M zero-G roll.

To answer the original question: there is ONE inversion element on the new V2, but riders will invert 6 times.
