How many acceptable?

Just wondeing what you guys think is a nice # of coasters in a park. I think 5 or 6 is pretty good.

It all depends on the type of coasters that you have. If your park is all made up of kiddie coasters that would not be much fun. I would say after SFGAm adds the 2 new rollercoasters for this season I think they would have one of the best variety of coasters there is.

The more the merrier. I think the most important thing is to have an acceptable balance: a park that has one superb coaster to 30 other rides isn't all that nice for an enthusiast, on the other hand 15 coasters with NOTHING else would be no fun either (or less, at least). For the prices that most amusement parks charge ($30-50) I think 6-9, depending on the quality, but tending toward more in order to keep lines shorter.

Right. It all depends. Examples: Holiday World has three coasters, Knoebels has four. Do you think anyone would argue that they aren't great coaster parks? ;)
