How long have you waited for Millennium Force?

I was wondering how long any of you have waited for Millennium Force. I'm sure the line has hit 5 hours at one point. I know it has hit over 3 hours a lot. If you stay for 12 hours at Cedar Point and wait in line for 3 hours, then 1/4 of your day is spent waiting in line for MF. Is it worth wasting that much of your day?

On opening day in 2000, it was around 8 hours I think. That was because of the one train operation.
I have waited about a two years, ever since I first heard of it, and still havn't gotten on...

I've ridden Millennium Force 9 times, at two different times, 4 in June 2000, and 5 times in Late July 2001. I have never waited more than an hour, even in Late July.

Hmm...guess I'm the lucky one!

45 minutes for the front row!

BOOYAH!

The longest wait I've stood in for Millie was 4 hours. That was the first time I rode it. I've noticed every time I come back the wait gets shorter and shorter. Last time I only had to wait an hour.

It took me about 8 minutes to walk from the Park Operations to the exit gate with my VIP passes. Terrible waits for us industry folks you know.

Longest time I waited was 15 minutes in 2000 b/c they had that ticket system which I LOVED! I came back soon so I was the first of our ticket color. Best ride ever IMO!

Were you even there on opening day in 2000?? I know for a fact that I was and the line was not longer than 3-3.5 hours for it...and there was 2 train operation. It may have gone down to one a few times due to mechanical problems but it was no where near 8 hours...Id say 3.5 hrs tops. I was there, I saw it (and waited 2.5hrs for it). Just thought Id let you know from someone who actually was there.

The longest I've ever waited was 3 1/2 hours on opening day 2000. But now I normally end up waiting anywhere from 30 minutes to 1 hour and 1/2.

When I went in July 2000, it was a 1.5 hour wait. But it didn't feel that long at all.
Maybe Wickedtwist02 was talking about the AAA day in 2000. I was one of the lucky ones and waited about 30 min tops for it. But I do remember hearing that the line was from 4 to 5 hours later in the day.
Is it worth it? It was closed the day I went but it just looks absolutely amazing. Not even pictures can prepare you for such a gargantuan beast as that.
I have rode millennium force 10 times. I went in June of 2000 and waited for 3 hours. Then i went on the second day of the season in 2001 and rode it 3 times in 20 minutes! I went yesterday and waited 45 minutes at night but in the day the wait was 3 hours! Wicked Twister was closed all day because of technical difficulties. That sucked but i had fun!

I waited 1 hour 45 mins in june last summer, but it got shorter later in the day
If you are worried about wasting time during operating hours, jump into line about ten minutes before closing. CP will run the line out regardless of length and you don't waste operating time of the rest of the park. That's how it's been the last couple of years anyway. Correct me someone if they've changed their policy. CP shuts lines down at closing time, not before, therefore giving everyone a chance at the final ride of the evening.
