Well how long do you think it will take CP to take back the record, that is if they do????? Do you think they'll fight back in the next few years?

I'm sure they already have a plan up their sleeves. But where could they possibly fit a new coaster. That place is already so crowded!
Who Cares! CP already has 14 coasters. Millennium Force, Raptor, Mantis, and Magnum. ALL world class coasters. I am a DIEHARD CP fan, but I applaud SFMM for dethroning the champs of the coaster world. This will only heat up the compitition in the coaster world and give us what we want. MORE COASTERS!!!!

I really don't know why everone thinks CP is out of room. If they were, i don't think they would continue to add resorts on the island as aposed to putting them on the mainland.

I a way, CP might be happy that SFMM broke the record. This title could get rediculous. CP does not need to use this title as an advertising ploy anymore...the park speaks for itself. SFMM is a wonderful park, but CP is just awesome.
However, I am sure 2002 will be a big year for rides for CP, since they are not getting any in 2001.
I think that CP should scrap the plans for Light House Point and invest the money i two coasters. I mean who goes to the Point for a camper? This would also give them the lead.

What is life without geniuses?
I think CP, should add a small thrilling coaster that is fun for all ages. And while there at it add some more flat rides, both thrilling, and ones for the family. I know when my family goes to CP me and my mom go and ride the coasters, and my stepdad and brother ride the same smaller rides hundreds of times because they don't have that much of a selection.
Just my 2cents.
I read that CP wrote a congratulatory letter to SFMM, but that doesn't change things. We all know CP wants that record back any way, they will get it back, but when? Good question. After Millennium Force, how could they possibly top themselves? They won't for a while, but I wouldn't be suprised if they got two small coasters next year to regain the crown. In 10 years I have a feeling another monster will be released at the point.

Coasters- a little slice of heaven
Actually, Camper Village generated over 1 million dollars a season. I'ts ALWAYS sold out, which is why they are creating another resort-to generate more money-which give them more money for more coasters-which attracts more people-which gives them more money...See, it's a never-ending circle.
Craig, you can add Gemini in '78 to that list. I believe it was the tallest coaster in the world when built, but I could be wrong.
