How long are lines at Cedar Point on a weekday?

I am going to Cedar Point tomorrow and I was wondering if the lines will be bad or if I will be able to GET ON ALL OF THE ROLLER COASTERS. *** This post was edited by coasteraddict on 8/13/2001. ***

Well lets see, you are going on a Tuesday so the lines should be that bad.

You are the Weakest Link, Goodbye.
The lines shouldn't be that bad, have fun!

Was there this past Friday. Most popular rides (MF, Raptor) were about 1 1/4 hours. If you only get one shot at MF, go for the front. Other coaster waits averaged 20 minutes. Should be less crowded on Tuesday, but will they have all the trains running?
I am going on Tuesday & Wednesday. Can I get some help.
during the week is not that bad, but the best time to go is on the last week in august. By then most of the kids will be back in school and the lines will be next to nothing!
How long are the waits in the fall on a weekday?
Raptor and Magnum 15-30 min in late afternoon. Mantis and MF 1 hour.

If you wanna dis me, then go knit a seater... or somethin' like that...
Cedar Point isn't open in the fall on a weekday -- after Labor Day (Sept. 1 this year) the park is closed except for Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays. The exception would be Millennium Mania, a special, limited ticket event a few days at the beginning of September. Check out www.cedarpoint.com for more details, and park hours.

As for right now, the crowds during the week are generally less than weekends, but if you play it right (knowing the better times to go on coasters, etc) the waits shouldn't be outstanding for anything, really. www.guidetothepoint.com has a great "Strategy" section for how to best see the park and do everything, regardless of lines.

How are the crowds on Labor Day?

Here is what I found during my last visit last Monday. I didn't get there til almost noon so the Milleneum Force line was probably longer.

MF - 2 hours
Mean Streak 1/2
Corkscrew - 5 min.
Gemini - 2 min.
Blue Streak 5 min.
Magnum - 45 min.
Raptor 1 hour
Mantis 1 hour
Disaster Transport 1/2 hour
Cedar Creek Mine Ride 10 min.
Demon Drop - 15 min.
Power Tower 1/2 hour.
Log Flume - 45 min.
River Ride 15 min.

I didn't ride the Wild Cat cause that line looked to long and the Iron Dragon was broken all day, but I definatly had enough time to ride every coaster plus some extra stuff.

I spent the next day at Soak City and the lines were terrible, but it was really hot out.

My friend just got back from CP and he goes once a year. I told him that the millenium will be shorter lines on the weekday and not on the weekends. THere werent any lines on Sunday night is what he said and it was extremely crowded durin the weekday so it could be a lot longer then expected

Cedar Point, it doesn't get any better then that:)
Today was crowded. Very crowded.

Our line at close was 1.5 hours.

Nat has that right the lines were horrible on the 14th. I waited 2 hours for Millennium Force and 30 minutes for Magnum which I usually walk on. The biggest suprise to me was that Gemini had its first not a walk on for me out of like 100's of rides. That was how crowded it was. On the plus side i did ride Vertigo 3 times and Ripcord once!
I was at Cedar Point on Tuesday, Aug 14. It was my first time there in 15 years, so it's hard for me to know what to expect crowd-wise. Gemini was about 10 minutes and a lot better than I expected. Mean Streak was 1 hour and 10 minutes, and seemed awful slow to me. Raptor was 1 hour but worth every second to wait. Magnum was 45 minutes, and a great ride, but the station was pure chaos when I got up to the loading platform. There seemed to be no sense of line formation for any of the seats. Corkscrew was 10 minutes and nothing special. My last two rides of the night were the best. 1 hour for Mantis and being taken up the lift hill while the fireworks at the laser show were going off. My only other stand up coaster was King Cobra at PKI and Mantis put that one to shame. WHAT A RIDE!!! Finally the last ride of the night MF was 1 hour 30 minutes. Until I rode this ride, I could not understand all the hype. Man what a coaster! Hands down the most intense coaster experience in my life.

Overall the park seemed very crowded for a Tuesday, but I'm not sure what a normal crowd would be like and how long the lines normally are.
i cant wait till tuesday the 21 i think it is, I will be heading up to cedar point looking for short lines:) with my luck this year i will get huge lines, this is the first year i only get to go one day *** This post was edited by pkifan4life on 8/15/2001. ***
