how is the viper at SFDL?
Its a "nice" ride... nothing too spectacular though (It was my first Rollercoaster as well...)

Honestly... I have been on it since 1986, the first time I braved a looping coaster.
It is a sweet coaster that never disappoints. It can be pretty smooth for an Arrow as well so it has stood the tests of time. The worst part of the whole ride is how the entrance & exit are so far apart.
The ride goes as such: Exiting out of the station, it goes up the lift hill, makes a right turn at the top (with a lil' dip), and drops into the first loop (a classic especially in the first or last seat), then it immediately travels to its next element, the pretzal (as some may argue, boomerang or batwing if you will). Right after that, it turns to the mid-way breaks, and immediately goes into the corkscrew which travels right over the queue line (Which is never filled up that far anymore).
After that, it goes into a sweet helix under ground and comes up to the final turn w/ station breaks.
I'd say there is not a moment of ho-hum on the ride, and with 5 inversions... it really keeps the pace!
Again, it's a classic arrow looper. It stands up to today's Arrow loopers in both terms of size, and activity!

I really like this ride. Compared to other arrow loopers this is definently the smoothest (i thought gasm at sfgadv was HORRABLY ROUGH!)

Viper at SFGAm is an awesome ride, but I don't know about Viper at SFDL.
