How is LL?

I get it on Sept. 23, my birthday, but I am just too impatiant. Heres a few questions.

How are the covered stations? How do they work? How many types are there?

How does the 4 across work? Is it a whole new type of coaster?

Are the scenarios cool?

Finally, do the new themes rock?

I have the game, and I'll answer everything I can. so here goes...

Coverd Stations:
You can change the station type in the Painting section, It has a menu, where you can chose like 8 or 9 types like Space, Oriental, Log Cabin.

Inverted Coaster:
The 4 across invert, is a new coaster its called the Inverted Coaster. It has large half loops. The old invert is now called a suspended looping coaster, and it has Face/Off cars or 2 acroos cars.

Scenarios:
Some are like CF and the orginal and some are different, like building 10 coasters w/ a Excitment rating over 6.00.

Themes:
I haven't had the time to research all of them but the snow and the medievil rock. Lots of themeing objects. I am a big fam of themeing.

Well the game is tight. For the covered stations you go under the paint tab and you can choose which you want. So far I have seen 6. The scenarios are well... scenarios. They are cool the way they look though. The new themes are off the hook. I really like the snow themes.

Actually, the inverted coaster is still the inverted coaster. The old tracks, for example, still load as the inverted. The only thing different is the addition of the large half-loops and four-across trains.

The suspended looping coaster (SLC) is totally new this time. The track looks identical to the flying coaster track but used the old inverted cars, only with the wheels inside the track instead of out.

You guys are making me drool here. Chips and bits (cdmag.com) still has my LL "on order". I don't know what the heck that means but I'm guessing I ain't gonna be getting it soon. :(

"I've been waiting for Loopy Landscpaes 1 forever"
Chips & Bits also

1) Has LL listed as being out "10/00"
2) Has changed the price to $30.

When I ordered, it was $20, and I was told I'd have it when the stores did. So far I am not a happy customer. If I get my LL at the original proce of $20, I'll be satisfied. If they change the price on me, I'll go elsewhere -- that is NOT the price I agreed to pay.

LL is fine. It has a bit of a cold, but it's getting better. How are you? ;) No, seriously, this game is cool. Some people have been trashing it, but I think it's a very good add-on. I like the scenarios and the new rides are pretty cool. Sure, there could've been more coasters, like the Intamin hyper track, but oh well. Maybe Chris will design a small download pack with some new rides that we can install, ala The Sims. Here's wishing...Peace. :)

I just can't get enought of the castle themeing!!! Something of note to your question, PT300, covered stations coincide with themes as they are researched. So as new themes/scenery become available, you can go back to the ride, and you'll see that more options for stations become available.

hey GregLeg,
I'm afraid we are in the same boat.
$21 was the listed price when my order went through, and even a few days later!
I received the game and the nice surprise of a bill of $26.95. (chips and bits supposedly figured in the s&h with that $21, so they can't plead with me there)
oh and it came 3 days after the nearest store got it in, and they had it cheaper I might add.
I'm too addicted to the game to send it back, and I'm sure that's exactly what they were hoping, but O well.

Jeff buddy, I would'nt give them your banner space anymore

That's why I removed the banners, and I let them know all about it.

I'd call up the company and complain, possibly even threaten them with some sort legal action (even if you don't have the means to do so.) The squeaky wheel gets the grease and I'd complain until your hearts content.
