Hey! I am up in the mid-atlantic...so I was just wondering how you west coasters like Deja-Vu? It looks like an awesome ride, and it's a shame that until somewhere around here gets a super invertigo, I will only imagine what it's like. Even though SFMM is the only one that's open, the closest one to me will be SFOG...and I'm in NJ here. Just want to know how it rides.

The Deja Vu at SFOG also opened at 6:00 on Aug. 25. I went today to SFOG, Deja Vu was not open, so I left when it started raining. The official opening is Sept. 1. From the people who rode it, most say it's great with no headbanging.

The train isnt even on the track yet(as of 8/25) so I dont see the SFGAm Deja-Vu opening this year but you never know. We might see a surprise during Fright Fest.

I dont want to grow up, Im a Coasters-R-Us kid!!!!
I expect SFGAm's to open for '02.
Well maybe six flags can get the other one on track faster and quicker now that they have a working model.

Deja Vu is a really great ride, scary the way steel coasters should be, and a winner from Vekoma.

I tend to disagree with the current reviews of it. I wasn't that impressed. I was lucky enough to ge on the last ride at SFOG on saturday before it closed for the rest of the day. I got a middle seat, and you couldn't see anything. Going through the station is really bumpy, but nothing too bad. You get a little headbanging entering the cobra roll, but thats it. Going up the second tower verticle was pretty cool, but again it was like riding in a trunk, nothing to see but metal from the car infront obstructing everything. Backwards was really smooth, but really slow too. It really hurts when you are pulled once again up the first tower on the way back through the station. It really slams you hard into the front of the OTSR. I give this ride a 6 out 10. It may be higher once I ride an outside seat.

i went to sfmm today and ran to it. it was only like a hour wait since we ran. but thats including the two times it got stuck on the first lift. anyway that ride is sweet. the first lift you are looking straight down and hanging by your harnace. it feels like you are going to fall out, but that was one of my favorite parts.the ride is smooth and great.
