How In The World Can You Get 3000 Peeps....

Can anybody tell me how in the world you can get over 3000 peeps by year 4 in any of the senarios on RCT2?

What is the key or the trick to attracting people? Is it low admission? Advertising? Great coasters? Lots of rides?

Although it sounds pitiful, I'm stuck at that abandoned airport senario... the one where you "must build a flying themed park with 3000 guests by the end of October, year 4"...

How in the world do you get so many peeps to come to your park? Does anyone get that many? What works best? Advertising? Is too much advertising bad (ie: after your 6 week park advertising ends, start another one)? Is "overkill" too much? Does theming help?

This is confusing me because it's the 4th time I've tried that particular senario, and I can't even break 2000 peeps... I can only imagine the senarios as they get progressively harder!!!

Advertise, advertise, advertise.

It is so much more necessary in RCT2, peeps just don't come in on their own like in RCT.

Advertising is the key. Never stop. When it runs out, do it again.

I managed to get 3000 peeps by October year 3.

Don't worry about detail. Add rides and expand. Work on detail after you win the scenerio.

OH and WHy build one then you have the money for 2(like the US gov't! For like the enterprise and other popular thrill rides that have low Capacity!

Soooo, what you're saying is that decorations like trees & flowers aren't going to attract peeps to my park? I thought that they like landscaping and think it makes the park more beautiful... therefore, they will tend to stay longer.

Besides advertising, what will keep a peep inside? I've tried to use those "Do Not Enter" signs at the entrance... they just get pissed at me and my park rating goes down to nil!!

How about paths? Do I gotta accomodiate the many peeps with lots & lots & lots of paths!

Oh God I used to do that!

It makes your rating plummet!

Make everything really spread out.

People get mad when the park is too crowded.

Flowers and trees are fine, just don't make a lot of buildings. It's a waste of time and money if you want to complete the scenerio.

Just build, build, build. That's what I did in the very first scenario, and I won it easily. Once you get the cash flow, there is no reason to stop building.

Like everyone said, advertise a lot. I never advertised for more then two weeks at a time and it got the job done.

Things that can get you to have 3000 peeps.

1). Advertise for a least 4-6 weeks

2). Built at least 4-7 coasters. Like a An Inverted coaster, Floorless coaster, Wooden coaster, or a looping coaster. Any type that has a good excitment, Intesity, and Nausea factor will be good.

3). Have at least 11-20 flat rides. Built water rides(Splash boats, River rapids etc.) too.

4). Have a good variety of shop and stalls.

5). Have a good supply of employee's. (HandymanETC.)

6). Have good scenery

7). Have fun!

Heh, I was stuck on that for a while. I kept running out of money because I kept advertising and trying to build new rides at the same time.

So, I found a trick. Sell off the airport. Brings in a ton of cash.
