How far does a park need to be to add the same att

Ok, this might take some explaining. I'm basing this on the fact that I'm hoping SFMW to get a hyper coaster. But I'm not sure if they will because SFMM already has one. So how far away does a park have to be to not be considered they're "copying"? I know SFMM and SFMW are in the same chain but I was just wondering. Thanks in advanced! :)

"Shut up when I'm talking to you!"- Linkin Park
1 hour away for coasters: BGW, and PKD both have Wild Mouses. BGW, and SFA both have hypers.

30min. away for other rides: BGW, PKD, SFA both have river rapids, log flumes, carousels...ect.

SFA & PKD are a *little* more than an hour away even when *I* drive ;) heheheeh

But seriously though, PKD & SFA both have a Premier "Mad Cobra" ride (FoF & Jokers Jinx), so take that for what it's worth.

It all depends on the attraction. They could probably all have a Tilt-A-Whirl, and I think they do all have the toss the ball in the milk can game. Standards like the above, Merry Go Rounds, bumper cars, medium size wooden coasters, etc. can be repeated forever.

It's the big ticket items where this gets tricky. A lot depends not only on the distance, but also how big the market is. 100 miles across Los Angles is a long ways away. In Montana it's next door.
