1. Flight of Fear - Coney Mall
Suggestions said hit early sense it has longest line
I also heard it has 2 trains is this true?
2. Drop Zone - Action Zone
Hoping for 30 min line sense i will be hitting it early
3. Top Gun - Action Zone
Some said hit early for no line
4. King Cobra - Action Zone/Oktoberfest
I love this ride but don't want to wait 45mins later
5. Adventure Express - Oktoberfest
Shortest line in park? fell should be off and on then
6. Racer Backwards - Coney Mall
Like backwards more than forwards, line short?
7. Vortex - Coney Mall/Rivertown
Near Racer
8. Beast - Rivertown
I will get a ride at night sense I have never in my 5 trips to PKI
9. Son of Beast - Action Zone
Will also hit late, trying to get multiple rides
?. Face/OFF - Action Zone
Aunt refuses to ride it so will hit whenever she wants break and able to sit and relax
?. White Water Canyon - Rivertown
Whenever I get hot or just want a nice relaxing ride will hit this, the length, the bouncing, I LOVE THIS RIDE, favorite non-coaster/non-freefall ever.
Multiple Rides: Beast, Son Of Beast, Drop ZOne, Vortex?
Any information on what time i could have the 1st 9 in or suggestions on where I should put what are welcomed
Thanks again matt WATTS
Every time I have been to kings island I have noticed the racer going backward is usually more crowded, the one facting forwards line is always shorter.
I'll prolly go on the shoter racer line but if there is no difference I'll go backwards.
GO BACKWARDS!! The line looks long, but people don't fill the end of the station and it moves quick. It is great airtime going backwards. Flight of Fear first is a definate, and they do have 2 trains, like a lot of PKI's right now.
I wouldn't worry about Top Gun (riding it or waiting for it). Face Off and Drop Zone are short rides which usually have long lines.
The only multiple rides you should take off would be DZ. SOB and Beast are good and Votrex is okay, hopefully with more trains though.
AE is also a walk on usually.

Sounds pretty good, but I usually hit the Action Zone first because it has more of the low-capacity rides. Face/Off and Drop Zone are two of the slowest rides at PKI; however, Flight of Fear is slow also. The Vortex was finally running its third train again today (5/13), so its capacity is very high again.
The way you are thinking would probably take you about five hours, depending on how busy the park is that day. With the order you are planning, you are going to be walking back and forth from one side of the park to the other all day long. I would suggest starting at Face/Off in the Action Zone, and from there you can ride just about everything in one big loop around the park, with no back-tracking. I would suggest the following order:
1)Face/Off
2)Drop Zone
3)Top Gun
4)Son Of Beast
5)King Cobra
6)Adventure Express
7)Racer (lines are usually pretty short
8)Flight Of Fear
9)Vortex
10)The Beast
11)White Water Canyon
By doing this you will walk in one big circle and can hit anything in the park easily. Also, if you see anything else that you would like to ride in between rides, you can hit them as well. Doing it this way, I can usually hit everything before lunch (except on very busy days).
Ill prolly do FOF first because of the possible 2 hour line. Please keep that in mind.
I rode FoF on Sunday the 13th and from the door of the hanger (not the que entrance) was a hour and a half with two trains running. Hit it early.
Go and get Flight of fear out of the way first. It takes a long time to get through the line especially with only 2 trains running. Then head over to Action Zone and get on Face-off first. Boomerangs are always slow lines and with the way PKI runs them they go even slower. Early in the day there is bound to be less people and therefore not as long of a wait time. Vortex you can go on at any time. It has a very quick line no matter how long it looks. Was there this past Saturday and got in line at the point where the sign said it would take 1 hour to get through and it took maybe 1/2 hour. Go to the Beast at night. PKI has the policy where lines don't close until the park is closed so even if you get in line 5 minutes before the park is supposed to close you will still get on. Not only that but The beast is just awesome at night. Have fun!
Do they close the queue line early? or close them @10 and let everyone go through?
Generally they close the queue at 10:00 (or whenever the park is supposed to close for the night), unless there is a very, very long wait for the ride.
Flight of Fear has not been terribly busy when I went there, except for Sunday, May 13. If you ride Flight of Fear first, you may be able to walk into the station. I would suggest getting to the park at around 9:00 in the morning, and getting as close to the Coney Mall as possible. I can't remember exactly where they block the paths in the mornings, so I can't tell you exactly where to go to wait.
Have fun
Thanks for the responses so far I hope to get a couple more.
