How do you feel about amusement park safety?

That is exactly my thinking. If people feel a park is not safe, they will not go to it. SFGAdv had some deaths may years back when a haunted house burned down. It took the park a long time to gain the trust of the public. Park owners know this and consentrate, sometimes to excess, of safty.

I work at SFoG, the safest of all Six Flags parks according to Six Flags executives. The last death SFoG had was a crazy worker who walked in the path of Batman.

Actually X, there are parks in the Six flags system that have NEVER had a ride related death. If I remember right, the corner has deemed the death at SFGAm as not being caused by the ride. I do not know where you got your information from, but you might want to re-check the source.
I think with all the lawsuits and such, the jury should get a brain and not award the prosecution because a rider wiggled out of the restraints purposefully and supposedly, the park didn't check everything first(which they did 2 times but unfortunately can't prove).
X....just listen to what you said. You say that you're listening to executives saying that their park is the safest. First off, the executives are going to say whatever they need to to get people to come to their park. Second, the part about the last death, well some parks have had NO deaths. If the park was soo safe it wouldnt have to worry about telling when their last death was. Ask the buzzers what park is the safest, they'll know.
I think that all theme parks are safe. but if u dont ride coasters that much u will think that they dont do enough safety check before the thumbs up but there isnt much that needs to be done

and on batman all they do is barely tug on ur restraint but they dont need to because there is no problem.

My friend said that on shockwave at SfoT her seatbelt came loose but i just think that was her fault of not pushing hard enough.

When one park claims to be safer than another, remember that there are many ways to measure safety:

Visitor safety
Worker safety
Deaths
Injuries requiring first aid
Injuries requiring medical treatment
OSHA recordables
Counting total incidents of each of these, or adjusting them for attendance.

This leaves room for several parks in a chain to claim safest in one way or another.
