how do you download trainers?

I am considering downloading a trainer.how exactly do you do that?do you download to a floppy or to the hard drive?I need the exact steps for that.and how is it installed and used?

You download it to your hard drive... Open it, and keep it open during the game. You can use the key commands and stuff. You need exact steps for downloading? Scary.

well, I'm no computer expert, you can really screw up your computer if you don't know what you are doing,my brother's got a cheat program for his game I keep asking him to copy it for me but he never does,he's the computer expert of the family.

i also dont know how to use them i tryed using one and i think it screwed up my game since now after a few secs that game is on it says data missing somthing somthing? i tryed thou and it worked for a while but then no more. it sux now my pc has somthing wrong with it and i checked but i dunno what to check for. anyone know where i can download a good one that wont be hard to use etc. becuase i donloaed another one and i dont know how to use it?

ok... i'll eplain for ya. You download the trainer to some folder. I use my documents. Most likely it is zipped so you need an unzipping program. Go here and get the demo. www.winzip.com
Once you have it unzipped open rct. once in the game pause it. hold alt and hit tab. It will take you to your desktop. Open my documents and open the trainer. Click on the rct box at bottom to go back into the game. I would recommend you use dragonioa v6. easy to use and works. Any questions, just ask. O yeah and you will need the drexler patch to open asved games.

To coastercrzy: if you continue to have probs... uninstall the game the install it again. Make sure you back up saved tracks and games.

I've now got the trainer and the patch but I can't seem to be able to download the unzipping program from winzip.com.When I try to download the program I get an error message saying page cannot be displayed.I wonder if the parental control settings are causing the problem or do you need special hardware like a zip drive?

I just went to the winzip site and it was up and working. Go to winzip.com and then click on the RED winzip name at the top left. This will bring you to another window and on the left a little ways down you will see the following.
Download Winzip for Windows 95/98/NT/2000/ME
click on that.
Then finally you will come to another window or page and you will see in blue
Download winzip now (size 1.2Mb i think it was) and then download into a folder or file that you use...

I finally got my patch and trainer open,It runs pretty good except every so often I get an error message that shuts down my game.I'm using dragons ioa version 5.0 and the drexler patch,I was unable to find dragons ioa version 6.0.

Also, you will want the Drexler patch. I don't know the address of where to get it, but almost every site that has a trainer to download has the link.
