How did they repaint Anaconda at PKD?

Those of us who've been going to PKD for sometime will remember that Anaconda had a dark green color. It now has a yellow/orange color scheme. My question is, how do you paint a ride that has a majority of its track over water?

A painter that can swim
Well, if the body of water is man-made, they can probably drain it. But I am not sure otherwise.

Very carefully. Now seriously maybe either they drained the pond, or someone swam out there, or they climbed on the track and used a roller to paint downwards.

So you believe that you are studying us, then kindly explain why you are the ones trapped in your seats.

They drained it. We flew over the park the winter before they repainted it and noticed it was drained. It all made sense when we saw that it had been painted! :) But, for all I know, they drain it every winter.

Darn. And I was sure that's why Rebel Yell has catwalks all the way out to the turnaround......they just climb up there, wait for the wind to shift, and spray!

OrientExpressKid, Lake Charles, as its called, was more than half-drained so that that area could be used for the original portion of the waterpark.
