How did they do that?

How did they do the close, multi-path bench area on the right side of the screen?

here

Does anybody know?

I can't verify this till the next time I get my hands on an RCT2 complaint computer, but I do know you can now build a path, a section of fence, and a path on the other side, and the fence will remain. Which raises the question does the fractured path rejoin if you tear the fence out. If not it may be yet another bug or feature we can exploit to create nice sitting areas such as in that screenshot.

when you tear the fence down the paths is still not connected. Its a good feature to have.

As far as I know, the path will only rejoin if you make it. You need to actually open the paths menu and connect them.

Thanks all! I will give it a try. This is cool :)

I have done this alot, since I got the game.

Yes, you build a fence between two pieces of path, then remove the fence. Piece of cake!

I do this quite a bit when creating food courts. I think it is a marvelous feature. Just be careful when builing a premade coaster that includes path and scenery because if you build it on top of a fence it will cut your path. I did this once and it took me a while to realize that no one could exit my version of the Tidal Wave!

This is a great new feature. I have even built some of these on elevated paths by simply rasing the fence up to the path level and then removing it after building the paths. I agree that it is great for food courts.
