How CP doing this year?

I'm going to CP next weekend and I was just wondering how it's doing. What has improved or gotten worse? Just stuff like that.
Top Thrill Dragster is obviously the biggest addition to Cedar Point this year. I have been there 13 times this year already and it is still the same nice, clean, friendly park that it's always been. But, let me give you some advice...Don't go to Cedar Point just to ride Dragster. You may end up being very dissappointed.

Thanks Ride of Steel...

What do you mean dissappointed?

Six Flags Darien Lake Mania! Your #1 source for DL and other parks!

Well, if you go to CP with the SOLE purpose of riding dragster and say Dragster is closed, that would make for a very crappy day.

If you go to CP with the purpose of having fun and actually get on TTD, then its an added bonus.

Heck, if you make any big trip with the SOLE purpose of riding one coaster, you may end up being disappointed even if you get to ride it. Anticipointment hits real hard if you've dropped a fat stack of cash and a week of vacation time.

I've enjoyed the park quite a bit this year, mostly without Dragster. I even had a good time on a Saturday in July, which I generally avoid like the plague.

DELETED! What time does the water show start?

What I meant by that was this...A bunch of friends and me went to Cedar Point for a three day trip in June. All the excitement and all the attention before and during the trip was focused around Dragster. When it never opened, we left with a very sour taste in our mouths. However, once I went back (a week later) the bad taste quickly went away as I finally got on Dragster. Basically, I am saying don't make the same mistake I did. Enjoy the best park in the world, don't only enjoy it because Dragster is there.

If you're not too interested in dragster, all the other coasters are a walk on when dragster is running, because everyone in the park is in the line for dragster

This year alone, I have gotten some of my best ever rides On Maggie, Blue Streak, Gemini and Raptor.

Dragster? We don't need no Stinkin' Dragster.....

How have the crowds been recently on weekdays? Also, what is an average Dragster weekday line?

"Hey, that looks like Princess Diana. Oh wait, it's just a pile of rags."

Avg Dragster line is like an hour from what I've seen, but after you factor in breakdowns, it can grow to well over 2 hrs. Personally we ended up waiting through breakdowns for about 2 hrs before we got our ride, and I honestly don't think 2 hours wait is worthy of any coaster unless its a classic that may be closing, for me the dragster wasn't as great as I thought, its so damn fast you don't even realize your going up 90 degrees 420 ft in the air then down, but the ride was good, for me it usually takes a few laps on a coaster to form a worthy opinion, I couldn't stand any of my favoritesd the first time I rode them.

As far as weekday crowds they can very greatly, for the most part the only rides I'm finding long lines at are Mantis, MF, and Raptor, but thats like an hour or so. As far as the rest WT can go either way, and magnum seems to be 15 min wait give or take a few, and Mean Streak I dunno, I really don't bother waisting my time anymore, For example I was there on a monday in june and it was about the most crowded I have seen it so far this year, and last friday it was kinda dead. But that is true about TTD if its running or looking promising that it may run and there is a line, most the other rides are virtually walk on. As far as waiting for front seats the only place I have problems are Raptor, the lady thats running the line on the platform, tends to let the paltform get so packed then starts *****ing to move down when theres no more room, but I usually ignore her and just go towards the front, if you dont hear her then shes not talking, thats the way I see it, Millenium and WT they seem to be rather easy going,
