How can you place rides in the scenario editor?

I just created my first scenario using the scenario editor in RCT2 but I wanted to place a few rides in the park to start off with but there's no way to place rides in the lanscape editor portion of the scenario editor so I ended up making just a midway with a few scenery items instead.

So my question is how do you place rides/attractions in the landscape editor so that the scenario will start with a few rides up & running? I've already saved the scenario in question so it's a bit too late to change it.

It's simple: you cannot put rides in on the landscape editor. You have to save and start the scenario put rides in. Hope that helped you out. :)

What you can do is create the scenario, then start a new game useing that scenario, add your rides and such, save it, then use the convert save game to scenario option under tools in the main game menu.

Also you can load any scenario in the scenario editor to make changes. Just simply go into the scenario editor, click on the disk in the upper left hand corner and load landscape and browse to your scenario folder and load one up. One down side to that, it'll load everything but the rides and shops.

Thanks for the help,I just figured it out that I should've saved my landscape first & loaded it up as a saved game inorder to add rides to the actual park before converting it to a scenario.

The funny thing is I did it on a park I was running & it did load all my rides that I built & of course with no money because I ran out of cash & maxed out on my loan,oh well I guess I 'll just build up the 2nd park while playing the scenario.

I find having to play through the scenario to build rides a bit of a hassle, I hope you can just put them in right in the scenario editor.

The only way to put rides in a scenario while in the editor is to load it as a saved game,your're right though that option would've been alot better & maybe we'll see that in the add on next year.

Now I'm having another problem with the park I created the other day,I've begun adding rides & was in the process of adding a rapids ride but when I went to select the number of boats I could only run at most two,the same thing happens when I try top build a log flume as well.

I know I have a long enough station but it still won't allow me to add any more vehicles,what's with that?
