How bad was HyperSonic XLC?

I rode it during it's first season. The first trip to KD it was down all day. I went back again later that fall and got two rides before it broke down the rest of the day.

I liked it. The launch left me breathless. It took me a few minutes to get it back. :) It wasn't the most awesome coaster in the world but it wasn't bad either.

Finally a XLC love thread. I loved Hypersonic! The launch was just so menacing in the front seat. I rode the dragster in FL which launches faster, but that close up wall of steel on Hypersonic made it much more intense.

I've always thought that was done for the on-ride photo section, but I agree, Hypersonic after the hill was designed by a co-op student from BYU.

(not a mormon joke, only big college in Utah I know of)
