I use both Biddingfortravel.com and Betterbidding.com to find the best bids for my priceline or hotwire deals, i also learned real fast never ever bid for anything less than three star, if you do its a crap shoot of worn out days inns and old Holidomes (IE St Louis Airport- on my SFSTL run last month) but with 3 Star I have stayed only in Wyndhams, Hiltons, Doubletrees and Courtyards so far, the most i have paid for one was 42 a night the least 32, all rooms were listed at 100 or above on the hotels own site.
As for airfare i almost always get the best rate on the airlines own site, i use Orbitz to find the flights then buy them on the airline website.
