Hotel Info

I'm going to go to BGW in a few weekends. Does anyone know of a hotel that offers tickets and an indoor pool or spa. Thanks

Can't beat a quick Google Search.

Well if you want a nicer hotel then stay at The Williamburg Inn or Kingsmill. Both were featured on the Travel Channel and both are very conveinent. The Williamsburg Inn has free shuttles to nearby attractions, which includes BGW. Not sure on Kingsmill but I'd think they would.

As for the pool or spa or the tickets, not sure.

I am going this weekend and I am staying in the Clarion Confrenece Center. $62.10 a night. I been there the last 3 years and stayed in the Best Western Patrick Henry Inn,. I give it a 5 out of 10. Travel Lodge and I give that a 7 out of 10. Comfort in I also give it a 7 out of 10. Good luck and have a great time.

Kingsmill definitely DOES have a shuttle to BGW. It wasn't very frequent (once an hour -- if I recall). It's an amazing resort, especially if you're a golfer, but you will probably get more bang for your buck the further you get from Colonial Williamsburg.

Additionally, Kingsmill offers inter-resort shuttles on command. At least, they did when we stayed there several years ago. Just call the front desk and request transportation and a shuttle would pick you up at your doorstep in a few minutes time.
