Honeymoon Recomendations

Congratulations, Ross! I, too, am getting married next year (May 1st), but unfortunately I can't really be of too much assistance as we will be spending the honeymoon on a cruiseship in the South Carribean. :)

If we had to pick some amusement parks, however, I'd definitely put Cedar Point at the top of the list (I've been there twice, but Liz hasn't), and possibly some of the small, independent parks in Pennsylvania. Either that or an Orlando vacation, including as many parks as we could take.

But, fact is, I take enough coaster trips a year to warrant something a little more special for the honeymoon. ;)

I'd check out New York and then hit the parks in Pennsylvania for a week.

Cali is cool, and there is plenty to do, but if you like coasters, I'd recommend heading out to the other coast.

My question is, have you been to the states before and are you planning on returning any time soon? If you've never been here before, I'd suggest some of the more exotic locations like California or Florida to hit the beach and soak up some sun. Or you could go the NYC and hit the various parks around that area. The mid-west, while having some of the best parks inthe country, isn't the most entertaining place to visit from another country. You can find peace and quite, but it's not what I would want to visit after a 10 hour plain trip. Sure there are great parks, but there are great parks all over the country (well everywhere except the west excluding Cali).

I'd pick what you are looking for in an area besides the parks and then once you know what kind of suroundings you want find the best fit with the parks.
