I lost my home park in 1983 :( Bertrand Island was a great place, too bad I was really too young to appreciate it at the time. I remember it's classic coaster standing there until they demolished it in 1986 for condos. Anyone who saw The Purple Rose of Cairo has seen glimpes of this nice tradtional hometown park.

Busch Gardens Tampa... with Walt Disney World, Sea World, Universal and Islands of Adventure only 80 miles away.

As for BGT, I've been going there since 1966...
Walt Disney World since 1971...

Gee I feel old now.

I'm 30 minutes from Six Flags Marine World, 40 minutes from Paramount's Great Ameica and 1 hour and 15 minutes from Santa Cruz Boardwalk.

SIX FLAGS GREAT ADVENTURE, 8 miles away, hershey and dorney about 100 miles away.. Also jersey shore is only 24 miles away... Gotta love the location...

My home park is Jazzland. Home to another great but underrated woodie, Mega Zeph.

I live close to 30 minutes (but traffic on I-75 makes that 45 minutes) away from my favorite, and what I consider my home park Paramount's Kings Island! Americana- Lesourdesville Lake (spelling?) is about a half hour away from me. Finally I live about 15 minutes away from Stricker's Grovebut. I don't really classify that as my homepark, becasue it's mostly private.

40 minutes is Six Flags
90 minutes is the best park in the whole world, Cedar Point.
