Universal Studios Florida sends word today that Hollywood Rip Ride Rockit is now open for business.

Ha ha. That stinks. I can't wait to ride it, with all the different music combos it will give nerds like my wife and I lots of re-ride possibilities to keep it fresh.

Rode it a few days ago... its fun, but nothing special (except for the whole music thing - that was cool). It also seems somewhat rough and is never very intense. I'll be interested to ride it again with some of the bonus tracks.

I'll gladly take Mummy over it any day.

I haven't ridden it, but did see it in person while it was being built, and the hills don't seem to be curved enough to produce any real airtime. After seeing cool rides like Skyloop from this company, aside from the trains, Rockit seems to have a boring layout.

From what I hear, Skyloop isn't that great either.
