HoliWood Nights in '07?

My 9-yr-old nephew has been asking both his crazy grandpa and uncle to take him on a trip next year to Holiday World and Cedar Point. Shame he'll still be in school when HWN is held. Maybe Con?

Sounds like a great event. I think a fair price for both days would be around $40 or more. I'd pay that!

I got a little heat from the wife this year over HWN being Memorial Day weekend. I think it's better if it's an early weekend instead.

The only struggle I'm seeing is that I want to bring my family, but also treat this like a graduation perk for my son. The problem is prom. It's his senior prom weekend. UGH! :(

Honestly, for me, it all hinges on his decision. IF he's game, though, I'll have the fam there.

Hello, Hello! (hola!) I rode a ride named Vertigo!-with apologies to U2

Yay! I was worried I was going to have to miss it due to a scheduling conflict with another vacation (I'm sorry, but hiking and biking in Lake Tahoe has to win that battle).

The trick for me is, I have a conference at Purdue in July, so I may book HW for that trip instead...or maybe I'll do HWN and then hit IB or PKI when I head to Purdue...so many choices.
