It was probably the best Holiwood Nights I've been to. That first train after the rain on Saturday night was AMAZING!!! I too, was one of the brave ones to keep their hands up during the ride. All of the ERT was amazing, and I got many laps on all of the rides (I think I got about 27 on Voyage from the two nights). Both walkbacks were fun, and the water park ert was very fun as well. I'm highly tempted to go back for the Fall Affair, because I'm not sure if I can wait until the next HWN to go back :)

Thanks Metallik!
Rob...DEF remember you and our "ninety degrees" convo! One of the ladies with your group was wearing a U of Toledo shirt. Are you all from Toledo or did she attend school there or.....?

Yes, she goes to Toledo, as does Coaster Krazy who posted above you. However, we're all from LaGrange, halfway between Cleveland and Sandusky. That's just awesome to hear after talking to you that you were able to experience the nuttiness that is HWN.

There were many outstanding moments of the HWN 2009.
Our first ride of Saturday night ERT was on the second train out of The Voyage. It was the most intense, freaky, awesome ride I have ever been on. It really puts into perspective what a monstrous machine The Voyage is.
The walk-backs of all three coasters was really great too. On The Voyage walk-back I was lucky enough to be walking alongside Kory. He was a great "unofficial" guide. What better way to see the behind the scenes of a coaster then with one of the designers of the coaster. Truly special.
Everything about HWN 2009 was totally amazing. Thank you Pat, Will, Paula and crew!
Yeah! I'm really loving being back on coasters after so many years. Decided to buy a Platinum Pass this year for the first time. Already used it twice at CP and making plans to hit KI (hoping I fit on Diamondback) and even make a trip to MI Adventure.
I'll know the end of this month whether or not I fit on the GCI coasters. I pass through Bowling Green, KY about 6 times a year on the way to my sisters in TN, so I'll be stopping at Beach Bend to see if I can ride Rumbler. If so, it'll open my options even further!!! I'm pretty excited to get on those great twisters!

Hey guys, just figured I'd let you know that each one of those 109 laps was as amazing as the one before it! This was my first HWN and only my second time at HW, so I had to make up some ground! haha.
But yes, I would definitely describe Saturday's ERT as a religious experience. I had the back left seat of the first train to run following the showers and I swear I was crying tears of joy as we rolled into the brake run. It was nothing short of orgasmic.
