ACE events and CP's 'coaster mania' events got so packed over the years, you sometimes wait longer during ERT than in regular park hours. Is there a limit to the # of peeps that can register? Hey Paula!

What ACE event are you going to where this happened?

Thought here (totally unrelated to HW but along the vein of *events* in general) is if you have "pre-registration", you should be able to figure attendance, and capacity, and decide what you need to have open...other thought is that ONE coaster rarely makes for a good ERT session (with notable exceptions).

It's been a loooong time since I've been to an 'ACE' event... I'm talking back in 1990 and even the 80's.
I went to CP's coaster mania a few times, the last times in '97 and then '00 for millenium force, and the crowds at ERT were worse than the parks open hours.
HW now will have 7 trains to handle a crowd of much more than the event will have, I reckon most will be down at Voyage anyhow leaving Legend and Raven as walkons except for front and back seats.
11 hrs of ERT, A full days addmission to the park and waterpark and two and a half meals, Not to mention a photo tour of voyage for 36.95.

Heck, Voyage alone can probably do about 900-1,000 people an hour.
While I think the event will be popular I don't think they'll top 2,000 attendees. But then I've been wrong [many] times before. Still, I don't think lines is something you'll have to worry about.
Besides...at ever event at HW I've been to standing in line is a great fun, too. Lots of talking, seeing old friends, joking...the electric vibe in the air is almost palpable.
I don't think I have ever been to an event at Holiday World that wasn't incredibly humid, even that one year when it (surprise!) wasn't terribly *hot*!

Not to mention, Raven with two trains now? That ride is so short and I'm SURE the crew can throw trains outta that station on time, every time, so I wouldn't think anything less than 1,000 for that ride.
And then Legend, at least 900-1000pph as well...you're looking at not overly long lines, folks...like Moosh said. ;)

My thoughts exactly. It's all about seeing your friends and being sociable. Oh, and a few coaster rides here and there. :-)
