Holiday World's Webcam

I've noticed the past few days that the official Holiday World webcam has been down. Did something happen to it during our bad weather that Indiana has had for the past few days?

Did HW or SS get any damage at all from the storms, because I've heard that Santa Claus, IN got the worst of the storm.

Although we'd like to say the sky is always blue over Holiday World, the current picture is not of the park. Recent bad weather zapped the webcam and it will be repaired or replaced soon.

As of yesterday afternoon there had not been any tornados in Santa Claus, IN.

We're fine. Lots of rain, wind and hail, but no twisters.

Thanks for your concern, Paula

Amen Gator! ;-)

We had some nasty weather here too last night. I was at work at the time and I had never seen winds so brutal. There was even a *gasp* tornado warning in the area but I have yet to see one in West Virginia.....too many mountains. I would love to see one though...;-) I almost saw one going through Kansas one time but it was too dark to photograph it. :-(

It still amazes me how many have touched down recently and no park being hit. Especially SFStl, I hear there have been a lot there.

If at first don't succeed, find out if the loser gets anything.

I could have sworn a tornado was about to form and hit SFKK yesterday (a relief for most of you). I was there and the sky suddenly turned really dark and green. I'll type a trip report soon.

We got our new webcam up on the water tower yesterday.

We? Ha! Actually, it was the Coaster Cat--Jeff Hammersley--who scaled the heights for us. He's something else!

Thanks, Paula

You wouldn't catch me up on that water tower. I'm not really afraid of heights, just afraid of falling! :) Jeff is a great guy!
