Holiday World's #1 Fan Contest

Over the past month, Holiday World has held a contest in search of its number one fan. Each week, the park selected one video to be a finalist. The third week, my video was chosen! :)

It is now time to vote. Below is the link to a page showing all of the videos, as well as a poll at the bottom. Each video is very different, and I'd like to congratulate all the other finalists, and thank Holiday World for holding this creative contest.

Your smooth voice and talented piano playing skills, along with pretty good song writing skills are really great, Dan, but that little boy is just about the cutest little thing that I have ever seen in my life. And his little munchkin voice... adorable. lol I love the way he says "Wildabeest". Too cute.

Almost so cute he's kind of creepy, like Children of the Corn. I love that kind of stuff. lol

On the other hand, your song is still stuck in my head, after writing this post, so maybe I should vote for you instead of the devil gnome. :)

After viewing all the videos, I still think the week 1 video is best. No offense Dan. Your's was my second favorite.

Ok, guys. Is the kid in week #1 cute? Sure. But let's look at this logically. He's cute in a coached by adults kind of way. And if you really look at it...he's kinda angry about it, too. Almost threatening. Like, vote for me or I'll bite your knee caps off!

Dan taught himself to play the piano, he wrote his own lyrics, and he put himself out there to try and win the prize. He's way better than that kid.

Now, I know he's not a dilapidated coaster that has been SBNO for years. But surely, you can still find it within yourselves to vote for Daniel.

I say, if you can vote for coasters, you can vote for the coaster enthusiast! Daniel for Holiday World's #1 Fan!!! Who's with me?!?

Another vote for Dan, done when Paula first opened the voting booth. He did the creating, playing (first time, no less) and singing all on his own.

....and he IS one of OUR own.

I voted for Dan too, but I'm not sure if it was to win free Pepsi or get put into storage away from Cedar Fair property. But I can still see some future collaboration between Dan and the little kid.

Daniel, you got my vote. You did a great job with your video. Currently you're in second place, trailing the little kid 47% to 38%. If you do upset Mark and win the contest, you may want to hire a body guard. That little kid kind of scares me.

The poll says "Please take a look and vote for just one..." Now does that mean only one vote per person? Because voting for Dan 200 times is still technically voting for just one fan. Interpretations?
