Holiday World wins six Golden Ticket Awards

Holiday World won awards for the #1 wood roller coaster, The Voyage, as well as honors for cleanest park, friendliest park, best new and overall water ride (Wildebeest), and a special tribute to Will Koch in its Legend Series. Cedar Point won best amusement park and best steel coaster (Millennium Force), while Knoebels won for best food. Harry Potter and the Forbidden Journey at Universal’s Islands of Adventure won best new ride.

That only proves my point further. I think looking at either poll, Beast is over rated. But, that's just this guys opinion.

It is now. Its former roaring self deserves every bit of the accolades it gets. So again it comes back to what set of experiences a rider uses to judge a ride.

I agree with all three of the last posters...me 2 (times 3)! :)
P.S. That helix is an awesome thing even in current form. But it *is* the only redeeming quality of the ride (unless you enjoy the train ride thru the woods during the first 3 minutes of the ride)... ;)

Don't get me wrong, I love riding Beast. It's just a lot farther down my list. Gravity Group and GCI are filling most of my top spots.

I feel the mag break jolts, slowing down the ride, and I know it's a little annoying, but to me, there is nothing on the planet like Beast. It's my most favorite -est ride ever.
Bringing my small post full circle, I need to get to Holiday World so my mind can be changed. :)
