Holiday World Webcam???

What is that, or what is going on in the Holiday World webcam?

If anyone knows, please tell me.

I was also wondering that. I don't know what that is. Before it was just black.

Maybe it's for Zinga?
That is the foundation for the new Christmas shop they are building there.

I have a feeling you were looking at the webcam at night, when the ambient light isn't sufficient to produce a picture. Up until recently, we had the webcam focused on the top of the lifthill at The Legend. A week or so ago, we changed the focus to the foundation work on our new Christmas shop.

And this morning, I see, the weather folks at our NBC affiliate have turned the webcam to show a lovely view of Highway 162 (aka the William A. Koch Memorial Highway). I'll go over and move it later this morning. (No, I don't have to climb the water tower to do it! :))

Thanks, Paula

Do you have to *fight* with the TV station to keep the camera pointing at HW? It has to be more interesting to look at that, erm, yeah. . . nothing.

...well, seeing as how they *own* the webcam...

...and how much we appreciate them showing the parks on their newscasts throughout the summer...

When they're doing the early morning weather reports, they need to show a horizon, and not shoot into the sun. So it makes sense that they change the shot from the big slab of concrete in our Christmas section. It's really no big deal to change the shot back to a park shot--but I can't do it from my office.

Thanks, Paula

Okay...we're back to the slab. Santa's Slab, doesn't that sound nice? :)

or, you could think of it as a "mooring" for Santa's vehicle....call it Santa's Sleigh Slip....;)

Amazing how good a concrete footer can look when it's in the right location, huh?
