Holiday World Rumors

If someone has already mentioned this I'm sorry, but recently I've heard a lot of rumors about Holiday World's 2005 Additions. I've heard they contacted GCI about a new wooden coaster or they are in the planning stages of adding a big steel coaster for the 4th of July section. I know HW usually spends around $4 Million a year on new additions, but with their popularity growing...does anyone think they'll add a huge coaster..B&M,Intamin, Chance Morgan, etc.?

I really don't think there's any room to add anything big in the 4th of July section. it's kind of just in there.

The space where Holiday world has some room to breathe is back behind The rapids ride and the Waterpark.

I hope they do get a new woodie. They can't go wrong there. If they do go with steel, I would prefer a Intamin mini-hyper. The beemers are overdone, and quite frankly, overrated.

Wow, Contacted GCI when they have contracts with TGG. It's possible I guess.

i can see how the rumors would start:

1995 - raven

2000 - legend

2005 - ?

people are just so funny...

i'll be there saturday...i'll make sure to look out for the footers for the new b&m dive machine that will go right in the middle of the "diveworks!" pool in between the raven and legend.

on a side note...

paula, i'm so excited to ride raven and legend this weekend after experiencing thunderhead a few weeks back.

i'm interested to see how they are running...
