Holiday World questions

Hello, I'll be taking my first ever trip to Holiday World next Friday, July 15, and it being my first time, I have a few questions. First off, I know Holiday World isnt a very large park, so I was wondering about how long it takes to ride everything major? Looks like im only going to have one full day, and while im normally not a HUGE fan of waterparks, Holiday Worlds looks better than most so Id like to do that as well. Is it possible to do both the water park and the park itself on the same day, and if so, what would be the best way to go about that? Lastly, what kind of waits can I expect for Raven and Legend?

I would look at some trip reports from this year. That will give you the best advice you could ever use. Have a great trip!

Thanks,

Hmm, first question: Depending on the lines on a Friday(shouldn't be too bad mid-afternoon) it shouldn't take you too long to ride everything major. This also depends on what you consider major. I went last Thursday and I did Legend(3x), the Raven(2x) and Liberty Launch(2x) all under an hour. But I can't tell you how the lines are on a Friday.

It is almost possible to do both parks in one day (my only reasoning behind this is that SS can get some very long lines in summer, and on a Friday) My suggestion is do some water slides once SS opens. Then once SS gets crowded, go to HW and do all the rides you want, because it's basically a ghost town mid-afternoon since everyone is at SS. Then with about an hour till SS closes, go back into there and finish off all the slides that you didn't do. Then once SS closes, you can enjoy HW some more after that.

I don't know about waits for the coasters on a Friday, but on a Thursday, they were mostly walk-ons or close to it mid-afternoon.

Hope this helps.

The park's website has some excellent tips on how to make the most of your day and avoid crowds. Have you checked there?
I do see their big list of rules and stuff, which is what I assume you mean moosh. It answers quite a few things, and even let me know a few things I never even thought of. Anyways, one more question: Does splashin safari have a place to change clothes? I see that there are lockers, so I guess I could always use a bathroom or whatever. There's just nothing I hate more than riding rollercoasters while im soaking wet...Oh, and if I get my hand stamped for re-admission, could I leave the parking lot, like say to go back to my hotel, then come back that same day? I would assume you could, since parking is free... *** Edited 7/9/2005 4:17:14 AM UTC by stljason1***

Best thing to do is get there EARLY and go to SS as soon as it opens. You should be able to get a lot of sliding done before the crowds come and then like mentioned before, go back to the ride park and enjoy.

I think we're going Saturday this weekend. This will be the first year we've gone twice to the park. We just can't get enough of Bahari. :)

Ah...I see if I just read their website a little further I answer my own questions. I feel so foolish.
