With the advent of Weblogs sweeping the nation, Holiday World & Splashin' Safari today launch the industry’s first park-sponsored “blog.”

Named “HoliBlog: A Walk in the Park,” the online journal will include stories about the park’s 59-year history, construction updates, hints about future projects, and day-to-day musings.

“We got to thinking about all the little stories we tell travel writers when they visit us,” says Holiday World & Splashin' Safari’s president, Will Koch. “Those ‘color commentary’ stories are so much fun to share; starting our own blog seemed like a natural fit for us.”

The park launches HoliBlog today to start the 30-day countdown to Holiday World’s opening day, May 7.

“We believe we’re the very first park to start our own blog,” says Koch. “We hope lots of families will enjoy reading our stories and seeing our photos over the coming months.”

To access the HoliBlog, go to www.holidayworld.com and click on the “HoliBlog” button at the top of the page.

Holiday World opens its 59th season on May 7. Splashin’ Safari will open for the season on May 14, with the premiere of the park’s second wave pool, Bahari. For more information, visit the parks’ website at www.holidayworld.com or call 1-877-Go-Family.
