Holiday World Fall Affair 2008 deadline: 9/19

Jeff's avatar

I had the wrong deadline on the registration form for the upcoming Fall Affair at Holiday World. The actual deadline in Friday, September 19, not a week earlier as it originally said. There will be on-site registration as well.

Hope to see you there!

Hey Jeff--

Is Cupcake the Clown on the registration list? :)

Paula (still having nightmares...)

I hope not. Salty old bastards dressed up as clowns... not good for the children!

I noticed Paula posted registration for the event over on the Holiblog today. I don't remember her doing this before. Is attendance not shaping up as expected?

We'd certainly like it to be a higher, but part of the issue was just me getting the deadline wrong.

This is so sad for me, another event I can't make. Especially when I live 40 minutes away. Someone show me love on the coasters that night. Thanks.

So I suck.

I'd jokingly mentioned attending the Fall Affair to my roommate a few weeks ago -- she needed an excuse to get out of a work party that day. As it turns out, it's something that's now being seriously considered. Of course, I've now missed the deadline. Sigh.

Anything I need to know for the on-site registration? Just show up with my CB card (and cash) in hand?

Yeah... I'm late AND a stupid n00b. Feel free to yell. ;)

Yep, just show up with cash. I forget the amount... round up to the next fivest dollars.

Ok. So $30 for me and $35 for the roommate then? (Think it was $29 and $33 advance.)

Sorry about the non-registering, LOL. I've been wanting to make it to an event for a LONG time but convincing someone to go with is not so easy... LOL.

Thanks! :)

No, actually $35 flat for everyone.

Hey Jeff or anyone who might know,

My group and I are staying at Lake Rudolph. Do the trams still run after our ERT? We're thinking about going back to our camp site in the afternoon to have lunch and chill for a bit, but we were not sure if we should actually drive and park, if the trams will not be available.

We are SOOOO looking forward to this weekend! We took Friday off from work. We'll head down to French Lick Winery before we arrive at Lake Rudolph.

Thanks!
Amanda

I'd rather be riding Roller Coasters....or baking.

I don't think the trams run at all that time of year. I'm sure Paula would know better, but I don't recall seeing them run in past years.

Jeff - Editor - CoasterBuzz.com - My Blog

They ran this late in the year last year (I ran back to the camper in the morning.) but I'm very certain they don't run after ERT.

There you have it. I have to get there early and then leave late, so I tend to not know what's going on in between.

Ok, great! Now I don't have to try to dig up my CB card, LOL. Thanks!

Thanks Jeff and Neuski! See you Saturday!

Curious....did we make our quota to extend ERT time?

Jeff, thanks for putting this together. It sounds like it is going to be a blast. I am new to CoasterBuzz and look forward to meeting everyone.

I hope the weather holds out- it's supposed to gorgeous here in Ohio all week, but I haven't seen the forecast through the weekend. Anyone?

The Lake Rudolph shuttle is owned and operated by Lake Rudolph campgrounds and runs all day every day the park is open. Usually its last run is about 15-30 minutes after the park closes. The parking lot trams on the other hand are run by Holiday World and may or may not be running depending on several circumstances.
