Holiday World 7/7

Drove down from Chicago to Holiday World to get some warm weather rides on Mammoth and Wildebeest. Got there right before 9 and headed toward to Voyage, sat down on a bench and was going to wait until the park opened at 9:30. A few minutes later, like 9:06, they dropped the ropes and opened the park. I just had to assume that HW did not want their customers standing around in the heat, so everything was up and running. I had 5 rides on the Voyage before the park "officially" opened. Splashing Safari also opened early, around 10 and as one could imagine, it was packed. But hoses and sprinklers on the walkways along with jugs of water in the loading stations were nice touches. I'm amazed how HW always seems to one up itself for customer service. Thanks HW. And BTW, Mammoth was a lot of fun in 50 degree weather during Holiwood Nights, but much better Saturday when getting drenched with water felt good.
