Holiday World

I'm going to Holiday World this Wednesday and wondering how the crowds are on other Wednesdays? Also what should I get to right away or should I not worry about it becuase of small crowds? Also would the water park be more crowded than the other part of the park. Would I be able to get to almost all the rides in the park including the water park. And what are the normal waits for Raven, The Legend, and Zoombabwe. Also where are the best places to eat?

Since it has been hot lately, you should expect the water park to be more crowded basically the entire day. I don't know much about Wednesdays, but because most people have work, you're probably looking at a midsize to small crowd. I didn't eat there. Just a couple of tips, ride the Raven from the backseat and ride multiple times. Raven confused me the first time I rode. Legend is best from the front, some good pops of air, and tons on the first half of the double up. Expect to get wet on Frightful Falls, especially from the front. Don't expect to get extremely wet on Raging Rapids, unless there were waterfalls that weren't working when I went.

Is ZOOMbabwe fun/scary/wet?

Six Flags-Its everywhere you want to be

Since I only live about 30 min. away from Holiday World, it is a big part of my town and my summer. I went last Wednesday and the crowds wasn't so bad. As soon as getting to the park, you may went to hope on Raven real quick. After, take a rideo on The Legend. Both great rides, Raven being me best. A good place to eat is Kringle's Cafe. HW's only sit down restraunt. At Splahin' Safari dont expect to just slide down Zoombabwe real quick. Probably about a 15-20 minute wait. On Legend expect about a 10-30 minute wait at most! Expect about a 20-30 minute wait on Raven at the most! Holiday World is a great park!
ZOOMbabwe is a ton of fun. The more weight in the raft, the better the ride. Wet? Yes, but when it's hot, you'll appreciate it.
Zoombabwe is a fantastic slide. The darkness adds a great thrill where you won't have any idea which way you're going. There were a couple of times we thought we were going up when all we were actually doing was rocking with the waves.

Definately more fun with more people in the boat. If you can get a group of 4 adults together, do it! We did one trip with 4 adults and 1 kid (only supposed to have 4 max, but since the kid was Paula's son, we snuck it by) and the poor kid went flying up in the air at one point, though he landed safely and had a great time doing it.

Just don't overload it to much with huge people. There were a couple of very full boats that I saw flip because of the weight, and that's not a fun way to go down.

Sometimes it's up. Sometimes it's down.
But with God, life is one thrill ride that you'll never regret being on.
