Holiday World - Is this customer service or what?

Among the jumbled words and posts of the Golden Ticket Awards news thread, I inquired about the existance of a list of coasters ranked 26-50 for each category (wood or steel). The very next day, I receive a personal e-mail from Paula Werne (as busy as she is at the park) of Holiday World with the information I vaguely asked no one in particular. Yes, I've heard a lot about the park and no, I have not been, but I'm convinced! These people are unbelievable...already! No doubt I'll be heading to Santa Claus in 2003, hopefully for SRM. No wonder this event is so popular.

BTW, if anyone is interested in the 26-50 steel and wood lists, I'll post them when I get a chance in the appropriate news thread.

My two favorite coasters are both named Superman.

Six Flags suits: If you are reading this, *this* is what makes a park great. Write it down.

That doesn't surprise me at all. Paula is a class act [and no stinkin' Aunt*].

I'd like to see 26-50......!!!!!

That's right, Moosh -- and don't you forget it! :)

Hope you can join us at SRM astro! You'll see that coasters aren't the only thing that make a park (though in HW's case they REALLY help!).

Another reason why HW is so great:
A nice place where I could do everyting, and multiple times nonetheless. And on a Saturday. In fact, it was day 2 of SRM, and when ERT came by, I was about to collapse because I had so much fun (shame one me!) Especially after riding Legend, where the laterals and airtime are violent (but not painful); and the resraint systems are strong yet comfortable.
Paula, it's definitely great to meet people like you and Mrs. Koch.

It's a purple thing. You wouldn't understand. (See, I've got you saying "What?")

I new this all along, but it was firmly reinforced today, as Paula offered to make up for a mistake that was made at SRM. I didn't even know a mistake had been made. Holiday World is truly #1!

P.S. Paula is "da bomb" too! ;)

This has to be the 900th HW love thread.
And the 901st love post! And the 10,481st hate post to SF!

There's nothing like a woodie...

Why does every positive comment about a theme park turn into a Six Flags hate thread?

Ya know...its gettin hella tired now. Anyway, I am convinced. I have to make a pilgrimmage to Holiday World next year even if I have to crawl on my ears

God is Good!

Antuan - Go to SRM if you can, it's so much better than just going to the park for a day. No joke. Riding those coasters in the pitch black darkest of night is just ridiculous.

Not that going any other time isn't fun... :)

PatMan, don't worry about it....HW is overrated.....ROFL....

Yeah PatMan...they only have two woodies...TWO! No B&Ms, no Intamins...the place sucks. And its in Indiana to boot. I suggest you just avoid it completely.

Once again gator and Mamoosh are correct, Patman. All the rest of us that rave about the place are brain-washed drones.

How they won those "Golden Twickets" is anyone's guess, or the vote must have been rigged at the very least.
