Holding Brake

I'm habing a ibt of trouble right now. I am building an Arrowbatic style coaster and I want to have a holding brake right before the first drop. Right now the lift hil ends, then it crests over to vertical and that crest is the brake. Checking the complete stop option or the block segment option does not stop the small, two car inverted vekoma train. When I had the crest in two sections, one for the crest and one vertical piece, the crest piece stopped, but it wouldn release the train. Can somebody give mea tip as to how to do his?

Also, what is hysteresis?

Thanks.

Try moving the slider bar for that brake around, or increasing the G forces used to stop the train.

The brake is switched on if the speed of the incoming train is greater than Speed limit + Hysteresis and will be switched off if the speed is lower than Speed limit – Hysteresis. As the Hysteresis gets smaller the speed will be controlled more accurately, but the brake will be more active.
