Hoffman's Playland will close for good this year, likely auction rides

Hoffman's Playland will close for good in September and its 18 amusement park rides will be sold at auction, ending a cherished tradition in Colonie, New York but paving the way for more commercial and residential development in the suburban Albany town.

J's Amusement park closed 10 years ago and I'm still not completely over it. I can feel your pain.
