It is, but if the problem is major and the ride needs replacement, Intamin would be the ones to call. Also, Intamin and Schwartzkopf are closely related, in fact if not mistaken, Intamin builds all or a majority of the Schwartzkopf designs (Schwartzkopf if the designer/Intamin the Builder). (I.E. - SFoTexas Shockwave and SFMM Revolution. See ride specs on the Six Flags web page. Hence another reason that we may see a giga-impulse at Knott's. If Monte has seen better days, perhaps a suitable replacement is in the works....

So now KBF will have 2 (3 if you count Windjammer as 2) SBNO coasters? What a waste!!

"X" marks the spot in 2001!
The parts are still available for the Schwarzkopf shuttle loops. Weiland has sources lined up to make them. It just takes a little time. Even when his father was in business it took time to get the parts. The principal supplier of Schwarzkopf rides in this country for a long time was Morgan Hughes. He once said that the inventory tax laws made it prohibitivly expensive to maintain a complete parts inventory of all the European rides he had imported and sold. It was cheaper have the parts shipped air freight. Where the delays happen is that the parts have to go through a customs broker and reams of red tape before they can be released.

What is the other SBNO coaster @ KBF?

Read carefully, MindBender. Soggy said that Windjammer is 1, (2 if you count the ride as 2 different coasters,) and that Montezooma would be the 2nd (3rd if you count Windjammer as 2 different coasters)

It would be sad to see this gem depart!
Yes, if monte had to go, I know I would probably cry. The sad part is, I'm not joking.
Leaving or not, the ride is under a lot of work!

Oh my freekin' head!
What kind of work??
Pretty major. I was there on Tuesday and a section of track from the station to the loop is missing and the fly-wheels are all over the ground. Additionally, th elaunch cable was noticeably missing.
