I'm not one to post youtube videos in new threads like this, but this one is a classic. Another one in the series "Hitler finds out about..."

Lol....these Hitler clips are great.

what you've just said is one of the most insanely idiotic things I have ever heard.
Everyone in this room is now dumber for having listened to it.
I award you no points, and may God have mercy on your soul.

Nothing disappointed me more than the Mexico pavilion ride. I totally get that EPCOT needed to be somewhat more "kid friendly", and I think KidCot and Kim Possible accomplished that....but some of the educational stuff about other countries needs to stay. It only gets to be a smaller world (after all) when we take a moment to learn about other cultures and ways of life.

That's pretty funny stuff. It would have been even funnier if they had dubbed in the actual German for what was being presented in the subtitles.

Bill, I was upset when I first went through the "updated" Mexico ride, too.

It's really annoying, and I hope they don't dumb down the other countries like that. World Showcase is amazing, and half of the reason I love epcot so much. :)

Other than replacing some of the film projection with digital projection, what really changed on the Mexico ride? Admittedly, I did it last year, and prior to that, 1990, so I don't really recall.

They added Donald Jose and Panchito. And changed the music so that its the 3 Caballeros theme song instead of another catchy tune I cant remember the name to. Finally, the end scene instead of being a fiesta is now a concert.

It was just more character injection into the parks. I, personally, never like El Rio, and think the new verison is great. I think The Seas being a bigger error as they replaced the history, story, and science of the seas with a retelling of Finding Nemo...

I personally dont have a problem with either of them, I think the Mexico ride is still the same (catchy song, and cool firework effects in the final room) and I think the Nemo addition added to the ride. I realize that when Living Seas was originally made, being able to see underwater through those big circular holes was state of the art, however in this day and age and with the advent of the "Underwater" Aquariums where you get a full 180 view of the water) the ride is antiquated. Adding characters to it spruces it up and made me ride it again the last time I went.

I just wish Dreamfinder would come back, I loved that ride as a kid. Now its just ok, but it could be so much better.

This was SOoooooooOoooo freakn' funny and true!

This is almost EXACTLY what my experience was last year when I went!

I as a kid found EPCOT to be my most favorite thing at Disney, and now when I went back, I looked around and was like...what happened?

I SWEAR the guy made this video from my trip report.

All while walking throughout the park was exactly what I exprienced in this video. Even the about leaving the buildings just sitting there to Figment.

Man that was a funny video...

I would like to pose the question: Is Bill Nye the Science Guy still relevant?

I'd like to think so.

Just as funny, just not park related.

No, The Seas is absolutely terrible, there's no doubt in my mind about that. When I first went through there in 2006 (first time since 1990), I was horrified. It went from sweet aquarium to, well, whatever it is now.

When I road it in 1998 it was horribly outdated, and after having seen the MOA Aquarium, completely uncompelling.

Was Nemo the best way they could have updated it (no) but did I think they would spend the cash to update it so that it could continue to be a stand out aquarium exhibit (ie put in the 180 degree plexiglass) no.

All this talk about Disney has made me start looking at vacation packages again... At least I have a PIN code I can use this time. :)
