High in the Sky Seuss Trolley IOA preview

Just read this article on High in the Sky Seuss Trolley ride, sounds intresting even though it took 7 years to get it right.

Army Rangers lead the way
^ It did not take them 7 years to get it right. They started it before the paek opened and then just droped the project for 7. They finnaly picked the project up and now it a a ride, not a piece of scenery.
I'll tey it out next week and get back with a report in a few. Doubt it will be this detailed though...
Imagine how sweet this ride coulda been if they hired Sally to take control of the design.

Definitely the most unique of all the shooters!

Looks like a nice addition to the park anyways, Ill hop on for a break the next time I visit the park.

^I think that couldnt have worked, the infra red rays they use for their targets would get majorly screwed up by the sun (infra red=heat) and if they used optical lasers, well that wouldnt be to good over the midway. *** Edited 6/22/2006 3:52:06 PM UTC by Touchdown***

What the heck are you 2 talking about?

High in the Sky Seuss Trolley is a powed coaster type ride, not a shooter. Maybe you are thinking about Men in Black: Alien Atack in the studios park next door.

^Krypton was speculating what would happen if the ride had been redone by Sally.

Why would they make the ride a shooter when they have a great (also my favorite) shooter next door?
Look up speculation in the dictionary.

It looks like the ride could have used better theming. But Sally? Universal's Design department could blow them away (but obviously didn't in this case).
This didn't take 7 years to get right -- they gave up entirely on the old ride system and built a new one.

Is this the first "new" attraction to open at IOA since the park opened?

No Mike, if I remember they added the Storm Force Acceleration and the Unicorn coaster after opening too, but that was long ago.

Glad to see it up and working, but I'm disappointed that it's two tracks with only two trains on it and not one large track with more trains. While this would have worked better with the Sneeche's storyline, well, that's now gone....
