I work at the hard rock hotel, so we were allowed to have a sneak peek on OCT 1. first was the bill and ted. it has been great in previous years, but for some reason fell short. it wasn't as funny and didn't really make any sense. we did the ship of screams, jungle of doom, and funhouse of fear (we got there at 9 and it closed at 11). ship of screams was decent, not scary but a decent attemp. jungle of doom was a really long walk throughout camp jurassic, great effect because they put plants on the walkway, so you can't see the path, and it was like walking through a jungle, with no path whatsoever. funhouse of fear was great, the 3-d glasses make the blacklight paint and monsters appear even more 3-d, and it gives a great disorientating effect.
overall i miss it at USF, it was alot more scary and was easier to allow more themes in certain areas. not scary, but fun. if you get discounts go, if not, i wouldn't reccomend it.
We talked to ride ops after the park closed, and they let us ride FIRE 2 times, completely in the dark. last night completely changed my perspective on inverts.
