HHN Starting to Take Shape

Still not much info, but the HHN site is up and running now.

Main thing is how they are using both parks, but only a bit of each with the soundstages inbetween holding most of the houses. It also appears they're bringing the parade back.

Ooooo very nice.

Have never gone, what's the 'Bill and Ted show'?

A pop culture parody/comedy type show.

Im glad they decided to make it two parks, but I think that leaving out Jurassic Park from the IOA side is a mistake as well as half of Lost Continent. IMO those two areas of the park have offered the best scares the last two years. The dinosaur jumping out the bushes two years ago and the rock people were the highlights for me. Not to mention that there is no DD this year. However taking out Toon Lagoon and adding the Mummy should make up for it. I also noticed this year they arent opening on Wednesdays. We went last year and did everything atleast once and did the major rides atleast twice. *** Edited 8/5/2004 3:31:58 PM UTC by Sugart***

It's funny you should mention the parade. We took a tour of Blaine Kern's Mardi Gras World in New Orleans this past Sunday and they showed off one of the new floats that they were working on for the HHN parade. It wasn't anywhere near finished yet but was still pretty cool looking (they had a conceptual drawing of it on display) with a Gargoyle and Grim Reaper set amongst a cemetary. The Gargoyle and some of the cemetary were done and looked really good. I can't wait to see the final product this October, as all of the floats they create there are awesome. I'm also glad that they decided to spread it out over both parks as hopefully that will help spread the crowds out some. I agree with Sugart above, that the Jurassic Park area will be missed, as it did provide perfect cover for the scareacters. I hope that the rumors of a Dawn of the Dead house are true, as nothing scares me more than Zombies! *** Edited 8/5/2004 12:57:20 AM UTC by Pale Rider***
