Hey CP! You missing a few ride-ops?

The title is just a joke. However, it relates somewhat to the fact that the Iron Wolf crew is absolutely amazing right now. 3 ride-ops on this coaster (1 in the booth, and 2 covering the trains) are kicking serious booty getting the trains out. I am talking no stacking whatsoever. This is amazing considering that this is a standup coaster with a relatively short track circuit.

In the past this coaster was constantly stacking trains. I have to give credit to these 3 individuals for a job well done. If anyone here knows who they are or if by some chance you are one of them, give yourself a pat on the back. With this type of coaster, that is amazing.

Now I am wondering why the Mantis crew cant do the same with a 2 train operation and a longer circuit of track.

When were you at the park because I was there last weekend and the booty was kicking them.

I was just there this last Friday night and today. They were kicking the booty.

Was on of them a girl with shoulder length blonde hair? If so, I goto school with her. I know she works Iron Wolf, and she was working tonight.

Chitown, I will sorta agree. I was there today also, and rode Iron Wolf just a few hours ago. They were better than usual, but there was a little stacking. However, the time was better than it has been. Bull's crew just keeps getting worse and worse though. I waited like 1 hour 20 minutes when it wasn't even full tonight. Last year, I never waited more than an hour for it, no matter how long the line was.

Does Iron wolf have belts to secure the sholder harness? If not, then your question has been anwsered.

Mantis was my least favorite coaster that I've worked at. It was extremely annoying and tedious. I'm thankful that I was there only durring Millenium Mania.

Yes, they do. Don't all B&M Stand-Ups have those?

I dunno, I was under the impression that the belts were optional. Mantis didn't have them for it's first few years. I think it has something to do with insurance.

But seriously folks, I respect the opinions of yall who don't like the thing, but if MF were human, I'd marry it.

The Bull crew was fine on Saturday. The line extended beyond the Saloon, and both queue houses were filled, and we got all three of our rides with just under an hours wait for each one. The crew hustled when checking lap bars, and there was absolutley no stacking. I really don't blame them for the hour wait, the park was jam packed. Besides, after being spoiled by damn near walk-ons on nearly every visit to Great America this year, (26) waiting for the ride actually livened up the experiance. Those three Bull rides were oh-so-fine. Among the best I've had this season...

Never Has Gravity Been So Uplifting.

Riddler's crew this past Friday evening was doing a good job at keeping the line moving with minimal rechecks.

The Mantis crew was awful last night. But the ride with no trims more then made up for it. Amazing second time I have ever greyed out on a coaster.

When I was at the park on Columbus Day the Iron Wolf crew, 5 strong that day (two people on EACH side checking restraints) was taking 5 minutes to dispatch each train. No energy, no pep. Nothing.

Wanna Ride A Woodie?

I know what you mean about ops having no pep....while Riddler as well as a few other rides were moving on Friday other rides weren't

They had only two people at Deja Vu and they were so slow. They just stood there and watched everyone for a good minute before locking the restraints and checking them and then were slow when it came to that.

"ok everyone go ahead and pull down on your shoulder restraint so you feel nice and stuck!"

When I was there last Sunday (October 20th) they were really sending the trains out. The train I was on was dispatched before I even knew my seat was locked. It was great to see. This past Sunday (October 27th), it was the same crew but they weren't as quick as the weekend before. I still give them alot of credit, they have been doing a great job lately.
