Construction is moving along on Hersheypark's new Setpoint coaster, Roller Soaker. Several supports have gone up, and it appears that preliminary work has begun on the station.

Cool! Even cooler is that I get go this year!
Looks like this will be a great ride. I personaly think that interactive rides like this are awsome. It adds something that just riding doesn't have.

Where has the magic gone in the name Disney?

7,000 entries? OK, I feel a little better that my entry ("Sweet Revenge") wasn't picked.
Whats the height limit ussually for these things? I'm going there with my family this summer and I have a little brother.

Nevermind..didnt scroll down enough.

Urg... it looks fun, but I *hate* getting wet!  Oh well, at least I'll have fun squirting the riders (and running away so as not to get squirted myself).

You can't spell "dishonorable" without "honorable."
Good idea. But I'm not sure how good it will do when winter comes around. Does anybody know how cold it get in Pennsylvania?

I just drove by it this past Saturday to check it out. Its going up pretty fast. It should be good family fun. I am not that excited about it to be honest, but I try to keep an open mind until I actually ride it. Should be good clean fun. ;)
Alister, sorry I don't know where you live, but here on the east coast of the US, most parks are closed by Halloween, and usually water-based rides aren't run past September (unless it's warm of course).
Except for this year (no snow and wintery weather I mean).   January 29 and it was 65 degrees.  That is warmer than some of the days we had when we were in Florida last March and did IOA, SW, and BGT's water rides. *** This post was edited by SLFAKE on 1/30/2002. ***
Hee-hee, ya'll Hersheypark patrons are in for a real treat, the near identical Flying Super Saturator at my home park of Carowinds is great fun.  It's the only coaster that I've had as much fun on the coaster as off of it.
