Hersheys Next Coaster?

I was over at Screamscape (yea i know). I found this site and then saw this picture and almost died! That would have to be the funniest themed ride ever! It looks like a spin off of the old steeplechase! Now we can only hope! Alot of people will probably hate it though because it looks like it uses GCII lap bars!
Wow...I hope thats sarcasm....haha
Best. Pun. Ever.

Almost.

All I have to say is MOOOO-ve over Storm Runner!

I can hear the reviews now "Udderly Fantastic!"

How long are you going to milk that joke, CPunk? ;)
Until the cows come home! :)
LOLOL SERIOUSLY Dude?, Seriously??

Gotta be kidding me

My brother painted one of those cows for Hershey's Ice Cream. There are a whole bunch of different sponsors. Its a chance for artists to get to do something that they don't normally do. I have link to my brothers.

I personally would have liked to have done the rollercoaster cow. Thats a pretty cool idea. You never know it might make a good ride. ;)

I myself like Cowopatra , The Harrisburgger, and my personal favorite the Trojan Cow .

Good luck to your brother in the competition.

Here's a link to all the cows.

That Trojan Cow is awesome.

This reminds me of the dinosaurs that were all over Pittsburgh last year (which, of course, where themselves inspired by similar events in Chicago, New York, and so on)

"You seem healthy. So much for voodoo."

The thing about the Parade of Cows is that the sponsor has all the say in what they want on the cow. My brother had a completely different idea, and Hershey's Ice Cream shot it down. His idea was much better, and would have looked better on the cow then some ice cream cones.

They told him specifically what to put on the cow. I guess there isn't such a thing as artistic freedom when comes to corperate advertising. With it Hershey they had their own vision in mind when they decided they were getting a cow.

He actually designed some of the t shirt designs for Storm Runner, but that horse design won out over his. He does have a Hershey Chocolate kiddie tshirt line that the park will sell this season.

My personal favorite cow is Hershey Bears Ice Milk.

They don't have a picture of it on the website, but it has a hockey jersey complete with gloves, hockey skates, a helmet, and a hockey stick in its mouth. It even has stitches under one its eyes.

I took a couple of pictures of it over the weekend. *** Edited 4/15/2004 1:57:05 AM UTC by SmurfRacer***

That brings out the ol' "..." from me.

I'm guessing this is the Cow art exhibit that travels around? I saw it when it was still new and origional in Chi-town(neener neener neener;)), and must say, it was lots of fun. I'm glad its grown to this proportion, and now you can buy the miniatures!
I had to edit my post because Homey G's mind is in the gutter. ;)
There is a cow in front of GIANT Center painted like a hockey player, complete with a black eye, bloody nose and stitches on its cheek. They also added a helmet, gloves (on its front hooves) and skates (on its back hooves) and a hockey stick in its mouth.

We have those here in Iowa but ours are giant pigs and not cows, these are cool to see.

Let's shoot us some deer Joe Joe!!!!

In Bethlehem, PA there's Mules. There was some sort of fundraiser called Miles for Mules or something of the sort. Binghampton, NY has had carousel horses displayed around the town for numerous years if I remember correctly.
Raleigh, NC we have wolves for the NCSU wolfpack. They also have buffalo in Buffalo NY. They have a really cool one were the buffalo is stepping out of a Buffalo Nickel. I'll try to find a link.
